In the style of my favourite 10th Cen. Chinese utilitarian pottery known as Tz’u-chou ware. A nice accent piece for the kitchen counter or mantel. Equally at home holding flowers or enjoying its own company.

Hand thrown in our Mahone Bay studio using a local earthenware clay. Hand drawn flower decoration on a white clay slip background. Fired once, then covered with a pale transparent yellow, green and clear glaze and fired a second time. The vase is 7-3/8” tall.
