SOLD Amber and Brown 6 Cup Teapot

A six cup hand thrown earthenware teapot. White and yellow clays were sponged over the surface. The teapot was then glazed with a transparent amber glaze. Tea always tastes better steeped in a clay pot.
Made in our Mahone Bay studio using a local earthenware clay. The brown clay is covered with sponged white and yellow clay. The teapot is fired once then covered with a transparent amber glaze and fired a second time.
